Phase: Design Documentation, Fabrication
This series presents a carefully curated collection of custom-made objects and furniture currently in prototyping and fabrication. Conceived as an ongoing investigation into scale, materiality, and domestic archetypes, the project comprises four distinct pieces that together form a coherent yet open-ended system of design exploration.
Each object operates as an individual study in proportion and construction, while simultaneously contributing to a broader dialogue on how furniture occupies and defines space. Rather than resolving into a unified stylistic language, the series embraces variation - allowing each piece to express a specific formal and material intention.
The collection includes: object n.XVII, a coat-stand that reconsiders vertical utility as a spatial marker; object n.XXII, a “Biscuit” stool that plays with compression, softness, and structural clarity; object n.XXVII, the side table “Figure”, which explores anthropomorphic balance and compositional tension; and object n.XXXVIII, a pair of marble side tables that investigate mass, gravity, and permanence through pure material expression.
Together, these objects form a discreet but deliberate constellation of domestic artefacts - designed not as accessories, but as spatial instruments that subtly influence the environments they inhabit.
