The project draws inspiration from Saint Jerome in His Study, translating its synthesis of architecture and furniture into a compact, multifunctional living environment. At its core, a custom-designed architectural wall integrates sleeping, working, and storage into a single, cohesive system. A reclining bed and foldable desk allow the space to shift seamlessly between day and night use, maximizing efficiency while maintaining spatial clarity. Service areas are consolidated along a single infrastructural wall, freeing the main space as an open, flexible, and light-filled interior. Storage is fully embedded, extending vertically to take advantage of the generous ceiling height and creating a continuous, organized envelope.
A restrained material palette of light-stained plywood, marble, and glossy ceramic tiles enhances tactility and brightness. Large corner windows connect the interior with a curated outdoor extension, while layered shading systems ensure privacy and comfort. The result is a refined, efficient living space where architecture and furniture become one.
